Newcomer!

Name: Snake
Video Game Debut: Metal Gear [MSX]
About: The mercenary makes a well anticipated Smash Bros debut in the latest game of the series. Solid Snake, a black ops agent, stays true to his nature in Brawl by demonstrating his usual cunning and stealthy tactics. The protagonist of the Metal Gear series also doesn’t limit himself to the special moves to take advantage of his technology, as various other smash attacks are original to his character.

Special Moves

Standard Special: Hand Grenade

Snake will take out a grenade and pull out the pin for this move. You'll have a limited amount of time to throw the grenade afterwards before it explodes. You can do so by simply pressing the special button again.

There are also three different ways of throwing the grenade, and they can be used by pointing the control stick the second time pressing the special button. Tilting the control stick forward will deliver the grenade with maximum strength, not tilting the control stick will throw it normally, and tilting it backwards will cause Snake to lob the grenade into the air.

Side Special: Remote Controlled Missile

This attack will launch a Nikita, a missile which can be controlled using the control pad. Keep in mind that you are defenceless while guiding the missile, so you can always abort the attack by pressing the shield button.

Up Special: Cypher

Snake's Up Special move will allow him to take out the Cypher, a flying reconnaissance camera, and hold on to it as it rises into the air. It might not be the most flashy way to get around, but it'll do.

Final Smash: Grenade Launcher

Well, if you haven't guessed why the attack is called Grenarde Launcher, you'll find out soon. It all starts off when Snake calls in a helicopter, then leaps into the air to grab onto a rope ladder.

He then takes out a Grenade Launcher, and is able to aim at opponents using the control stick and fire the grenades using the attack button. The final smash ends when either all 12 rounds are used up, or you run out of time. It would probably be better to be trigger happy than only use up a couple shots before its done, although this is when FPS skills might come in handy.
