Andross Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Moderate Fires polygonal panels at opponents from the background. The panels act as projectiles aimed at the closest opponent, and inflict minimal damage, but can leave an enemy vulnerable to attack if caught up with multiple tiles.
Barbara Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Low

Hits opponents with sound waves while she plays the guitar, temporarily stunning them.
Custom Robo (Ray Mk III) Type: Offensive - Range: Long - KO Potential: Moderate
How to unlock: Play 100 matches in Brawl or related modes
Ray flies to the top of the stage and randomly fires energy blasts and missiles. The missiles have a relatively short range but the lasers can cover quite the distance. In addition, the Custom Robo will fly around in order to add to its range.
Devil Type: Distraction - Range: Long - KO Potential: High Devil will fly to the top of the screen and point his fingers in various directions, causing the camera to shift and the stage's boundaries to move. The direction he points in will decide which boundary gets closer.
Dr. Wright Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: High Builds a series of skyscrapers, in proximity to where he emerged, that send your enemies skyward if caught in the attack.
Excitebike Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Low The 8-bit racers speed across the stage, hitting your enemies and inflicting minimal damage.
Gray Fox Type: Offensive - Range: Long - KO Potential: Moderate
How to unlock: Unlock Snake
Frank Jaeger, the Gray Fox, selects an opponent when he appears and repeatedly slashes them with his sword, reflecting any projectiles in the mean time.
Hammer Brother Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Low He throw hammers with a high arc at opponents, meaning that they can be dodged quite easily. They also don't deal very much damage.
Helirin Type: Distraction - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Low Becomes an alternate part of the stage while slowly rotating. Its long panels also cannot be passed through, and so it can prove to be dangerous if you approach the boundaries of the stage.
Infantry and Tanks Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Low
How to unlock: Play 300 matches in Brawl or related modes
The infantry and tanks move along the platform in which they appeared, firing projectiles.
Isaac Type: Offensive - Range: Long - KO Potential: Moderate
How to unlock: Play 200 matches in Brawl or related modes
Isaac, from Golden Sun, uses "Move" which is demonstrated as a large hand chich acts as a projectile, pushing opponents. Multiple hands will be fired throughout his duration on the field, and each can pass through all objects, making it difficult for enemies to stay onstage.
Jeff Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Moderate Jeff takes out what seems to be a mini model rocket set and begins to launch missiles at the closest opponent. Upon impact, the missiles cause fire damage and stun the enemy.
Jill and Drill Dozer Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Low With her might drill, Jill moves around the platform, dealing a significant amount of damage on opponents. Following up a combo by Jill with a smash attack could result in an easy KO.
Kat and Ana Type: Offensive - Range: Long - KO Potential: Medium The pair will appear then immediately vanish, and then speed diagonally across the screen moments later while attacking the closest opponent to the area in which they first showed themselves. Because of the knockback of consecutive strikes, they could easily strike a KO.
Knuckle Joe Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: High Knuckle Joe locks on to a target and uses his Vulcan Jab, sending a flurry of punches at the opponent. He then finishes the combo with the Rising Break or Smash Punch, both of which can result in a KO.
Lakitu and Spinies Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Low Lakitu, of course, floats to the screen's top and throw Spinies down to the stage. The Spinies, however, are easily avoided and deal little damage.
Little Mac Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: High Little Mac will select the closest opponent from the area in which he appeared, and unleash a barrage of punches. He then finishes his combo with his uppercut, which can usually KO an enemy.
Lyn Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Moderate Lyn targets a single opponent and after a moment of preperation, attacks with a powerful sword slash.
Metroid Type: Offensive - Range: Moderate - KO Potential: None It latches on to the nearest opponent and attacks up to three times. This can normally be followed up by a smash attack for an easy KO.
Mr. Resetti Type: Distraction - Range: Long - KO Potential: None Mr. Resetti serves as a distraction in game as he begins his infamous lectures. The dialogue box then covers a large portion of the screen, meaning that he wants the attention. Just be happy you didn't reset the game.
Nintendog Type: Distraction - Range: Long - KO Potential: None The dog will approach the camera and jump up, blocking a large part of the screen for around 12 seconds.
Saki Amamiya Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Moderate Saki uses a Canon Sword to either fire a series of projectiles or slash an opponent. Both attacks result in a significant amount of damage, and could lead to a KO if their damage is high enough.
Samurai Goroh Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: Moderate Goroh will rapidly slash at the closest opponent, resulting in either a KO if the full combo is successful, or an enemy with a fairly high amount of damage.
Shadow The Hedgehog Type: Passive - Range: Long - KO Potential: None
How to unlock: Unlock Sonic
Shadow, like a Timer, causes all opponents to move in slow motion for a short period of time, although with him there's no chance of backfire.
Stafy Type: Offensive - Range: Short - KO Potential: Low Stafy is more of a distraction than anything as he attacks while spinning, dealing very little damage. He can also be hit like any other character, and so can be avoided fairly easily.
Tingle Type: Passive - Range: Short - KO Potential: None Tingle may either drop a bundle of items, such as ten golden hammers, or simply sprout balloons and fly away.
Waluigi Type: Offensive - Range: Medium - KO Potential: High Tennis racket in hand, Waluigi targets a nearby opponent and unleashes a series of attacks which can bury the enemy. Once the target is vulnerable, Waluigi will perform a finishing attack which can often times lead to a KO.
